New Academy

  The Academy of Malaga facilities are closer. The club intended to begin work on the new sports centre between June and July, but it was not possible mainly due to the August holiday season but now it looks like everything is closer. The project has the support of institutions and has already submitted the project to various agencies to meet the first administrative steps to allow the start of the work in the Arraijanal area.
  This construction, which Malaga is proposed to be exemplary in all aspects, will cost about 17 million Euros, seven million more than envisaged at the start.
  The Academy will be formed with the idea of becoming one of the best Spanish sports facilities provided by football clubs. There will be ten fields, five being of natural grass. Two areas will be provided specifically for the training of goalkeepers, including special spaces for the development and training of young players. In total it will have an area of 150,000 square meters.
